Ruby Arabian Stallion Head

This bold and opulent ruby horse’s head is set in a proud champion’s pose which beautifully captures the soulful look of a pure bred Arabian stallion. Its powerful equine features have been expertly hand carved in a rich ruby originating from Longido in Tanzania. 

This dramatic and sensitively detailed sculpture is further enhanced by pure ruby cabochon eyes together with a finely engraved yellow gold mane. The base of the head is set in white gold, finished with fine hand engraving and enamelling to complement the vivid colours of the ruby. The piece is then elegantly held in a sculptural gold frame mounted on an obsidian stand.

A sumptuous and powerful statement piece which demonstrates a singular strength in its bold hand carving and the superb quality of the gemstone. As with all of Henn’s objets d’art it is finished to the most exacting standards and with a sensitive attention to detail.
